Sharon Marie is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, and electronic keyboardist. She studied piano since age 7 and was a piano major and voice minor at Eastern Michigan University in classical music. She served as piano accompanist for Eastern Michigan University choir. 

     For over 25 years Sharon has been a consummate entertainer, leader of her own ensembles, and a member of many as lead keyboardist and lead vocalist: musical styles including pop, rock, jazz, and country. She performed in a variety of venues: private and public events, stadiums, cable TV, upscale hotels, dinner clubs, rock clubs, upscale piano bars, weddings and receptions. Some locations include Detroit metropolitan area, Toledo, San Diego, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Canada and Europe.

     She was co-owner of one of San Diego, California’s largest commercial 24-track recording studio, ‘Mix Masters’. Here she gained valuable knowledge of professional recording, and experience as a ‘Producer’. She was regularly contracted by Television and Radio commercial producers to sing local and regional ‘jingles’.   

     Sharon writes and records her own music and has won numerous songwriting awards. Some of Sharon's own original songs and recordings can be heard by clicking here. She has working knowledge and hands on experience for many years with professional audio gear, live sound, and audio/video recording and editing software. 

          Sharon has enjoyed teaching for over 20 years children and young adults piano, voice, performing, recording art, and encourages creativity in songwriting.

          Sharon spent a few years in Hollywood working as a background actor, featured in many Television shows and movies. Some movies include, 'Seven Girlfriends', starring Tim Daly; 'Bowfinger' starring Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy. Some television shows include 'Melrose Place', 'The Practice', Just Shoot Me, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Party of Five, Providence, L.A. Doctors, and Mad About You.
 

          She has been Worship Director at many churches, large and small, directing large ensembles and choirs in San Diego California, and most recently Worship Director and Graphic Artist for Britton Bethel Baptist Church, in Britton, MI. As a worship director, she has many years experience conducting and organizing rehearsals, leading a choir, teaching harmonies, giving direction to instrumentalists and vocalists, and organizing special events. Sharon is a Christian woman and upholds Christian principles when teaching.

         As a hobby, she enjoys filming, website building (this one included), video and graphic editing. She makes time to exercise and listen to music.
